A Prayer of Solace

I am in love with You, Jesus.

My first love. My best love. The #1 love who will never abandon nor forsake me.

You guide my steps. You are gentle. You are soft.

You don’t raise Your voice. Your whispers are delicate and sweet as candy.

You always know how to fill me back up with joy, laughter, and peace.

Your confirmations never cease. You give reassurance willingly. You keep no good thing back.

You freely give.

You calmly wait.

You allow me to freely come and go, yet, You never do. You sit on Your throne in patience for me. Waiting upon my return and submission to You.

Your protection is like no other. You guard me. You make the wrongs of my enemies right in Your eyes.

Control is Yours.

I am learning how to abide fully in You and how to surrender. Not just myself, but all in my life to You.

I am learning and You provide me grace in my mistakes.

I am in love with You and it brings me to tears.

You are the greatest.

My King of kings.

My Lord of lords.

You reign all and are for all.

Your love never ceases.

I am the daughter of the King Most High.

Who created the world,

Who orders my steps,

Who clothes me in righteousness.

My Father is the best Father.

My Dad is the man who saved me from the path of death and brought me to life.

If my God is a good God, and in His image I am created, then how much more am I than what the world says I am.
